Below is a list of our friends and the work they\u2019re doing, follow them to learn more!<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.myelomacrowd.org\/about\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Myeloma Crowd<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides: <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patient Education<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research driven by patient needs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Data solutions <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Founded in 2010 by Myeloma patient Jenny Ahlstrom and her husband Paul. Jenny noticed that adult clinical trials for cancer had only 3-5% participation rates and many research projects weren\u2019t completed because scientists simply couldn\u2019t find enough willing participants with rare cancers. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joining forces with her husband Paul, Jenny founded Myeloma Crowd to empower patients and accelerate cures. <\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.myeloma.org.uk\/information\/what-is-myeloma\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Myeloma UK <\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Educational resources for HCPs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research investment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patient support and advocacy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patient education<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Myeloma UK is run by Rosemarie Finley, a registered nurse who previously worked at the Epilepsy Society. Myeloma UK is the only organization in the UK focusing solely on myeloma and the 5,500 patients newly diagnosed with myeloma every year in the UK. <\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.myeloma.org\/about-imf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Myeloma Foundation<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Education<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patient support <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patient Advocacy<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Founded in 1990, the organization is the first and largest myeloma-specific charity in the world with over 350K members in 140 countries.
