Our user, Lane, shares his Medisafe story.
\nI have always had trouble with my short term memory. I was an early adopter of the Palm Pilot and I even had an old Sharp electronic organizer before that. Both tools always helped me to remember important things in my life and, now that I am older, one of the most important things I need to remember is when to take my medication. This became a crucial part of my life after learning that I was diabetic and was also struggling with high blood pressure.
\nPrior to using Medisafe, I was probably around 50 percent adherent to my medication. My low compliance was resulting in cardiovascular issues, which is when I knew I needed to make a change. After installing the Medisafe app on my Samsung Galaxy and setting it up with my medication schedule, my compliance has consistently been between 98 and 100 percent.
