I do not receive Medisafe notifications – Xiaomi
Background Restrictions (Android 6):
1. Start from App drawer
2. Tap Android phone Security app
3. Tap Settings then Data usage
4. Turn on Allow background data.
Autostart Settings (Android 6+):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on Apps
3. Tap Medisafe then turn on ‘Autostart’
If you start from App drawer:
1. Tap Security
2. Tap Permissions
3. Tap Autostart
4. Enable Medisafe
If you start from Android phone Settings:
1. Tap Services
2. Tap Security
3. Tap Permissions
4 Tap Autostart
5. Enable Medisafe
Background Restrictions (Android 8):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap ‘Installed apps’
3. Tap ‘Medisafe’
4. Tap ‘Battery Saver’ and select ‘No Restrictions’
Background Restrictions (Android 9):
1. Tap on Settings
2. Tap on ‘Apps & notifications’
3. Tap ‘Medisafe’ then tap ‘Advanced’
4. Tap on ‘Battery’
5. Verify Medisafe can use battery in the background
Sound Settings (Android 6):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap ‘Installed apps’
3. Tap on ‘Medisafe’ then tap ‘Notifications’
4. Switch on Sound
Sound Settings (Android 7-10):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on ‘Manage apps’
3. Tap on ‘Medisafe’
4. Tap on ‘Notifications’
5. Under the ‘Reminders’ section, tap on each reminder and switch ON sound
Sound Settings (Android 11):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on Notifications & Control center
3. Tap on App notifications and tap Medisafe
4. Enable or disable Allow sound
Sound Settings (Android 12):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on Notifications & Control center
3. Tap on App notifications and tap Medisafe
4. Enable Allow sound
Battery Optimization
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap Battery & performance
3. Tap Manage apps battery usage
4. Tap Choose apps
5. Tap Installed apps and choose ‘Medisafe’
6. Select ‘No restrictions’
Battery Optimization (Android 6):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap Additional Settings
3. Tap Battery and Performance followed by Manage apps battery usage
4. Turn ‘Power saving modes’ off
5. Then open the Security app
6. Navigate to Permissions
7. Add Medisafe to Autostart
8. Invoke Task Manager then find Medisafe
9. Drag it downwards until the padlock icon appears to unlock
Battery Optimization (Android 9):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on ‘Apps & notifications’
3. Tap on ‘Medisafe’ then ‘Advanced’
4. Tap on ‘Battery’ followed by ‘Battery optimization’
5. Select ‘Not Optimized’
6. Tap on ‘All Apps’ then find Medisafe
7. Tap on Medisafe in the list and then select ‘Don’t Optimize’
Advanced Battery (Android 10):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap Apps then Manage apps
3. Find Medisafe and Scroll to Battery saver
4. Set permission to “No restrictions”
