I do not get Medisafe notifications – Samsung

General Notification Settings (Android 12):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on “Apps”
3. Find Medisafe
4. Make sure Notifications are not Blocked
5. Tap to Turn Show notifications On


Sound Settings (Android 12):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on Apps
3. Find and tap Medisafe
4. Tap Notifications
5. Tap Allow sound
6. Under Notification categories, set all to ON
7. If your notifications are not loud enough, you can navigate to Settings > Sound and vibration > Volume > Adjust notifications volume to your needs


Battery Optimization (Android 6):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap Battery then Battery usage
3. Tap on the ‘…’ on the right corner or More or Battery usage
4. Tap Optimize battery usage
5. Select “All apps” in the drop-down menu, and set the switch next to “Medisafe” to “off”

Battery Optimization (Android 7):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap Battery then Battery usage
3. Tap on the ‘…’ on the right corner or More or Battery usage
4. Tap Optimize battery usage
5. Select “All apps” in the drop-down menu, and set the switch next to “Medisafe” to “off”

Battery Optimization (Android 8):
1. Open Settings
2. Tap Battery then Battery usage
3. Tap on the ‘…’ on the right corner
4. Tap on Special access
5. Tap Optimize battery usage
6. Select “All apps” in the drop-down menu, and set the switch next to “Medisafe” to “off”

Advanced Battery (Android 9):
1. Open device Settings
2.Tap Battery then Battery usage
3. Tap on the ‘…’ on the right corner
4. Tap Special access
5. Tap Optimize battery usage
6. Select “All apps” in the drop-down menu, and set the switch next to “Medisafe” to “off”

Battery Optimization (Android 10):
1. Navigate to Settings
2. Tap on “Apps” and select ‘Medisafe’
3. Tap on “Battery” and Enable “Allow background activity”
4. Tap on “Optimize battery usage and select Apps not optimized
5. Tap ‘All’ then Tap the switch next to ‘Medisafe’ to disable battery optimization

Battery Optimization (Android 10):
1. Navigate to Settings
2. Tap on “device care”
3. Tap on the three dots at the top right and select “Advanced”
4. Tap the switch next to “Auto optimization” to deactivate it

Adaptive Battery (Android 11):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on “Battery and device care”
3. Select “Battery then tap More battery settings”
4. Disable the “Adaptive battery” setting

Advanced Battery (Android 11):
1. Navigate to Settings
2. Tap on “Battery and device care”
3. Tap Battery, followed by “Background usage limits”
4. Disable “put unused apps to sleep”
5. Tap on “Sleeping apps”
6. Tap the three dots at the top right and select “Edit apps”
7. If ‘Medisafe’ appears in this list, select ‘Medisafe’ and then tap on “Remove”

Battery Optimization (Android 11):
1. Navigate to Settings
2. Tap on “Battery and device care”
3. Tap the three dots at the top right and select “Automation”
4. Deactivate “Auto optimize daily”

Adaptive Battery (Android 12):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on “Battery and device care”
3. Select “Battery” then tap More battery settings”
4. Disable the “Adaptive battery” setting.

Advanced Adaptive Battery (Android 12):
1. Navigate to Settings
2. Tap on ‘Battery and device care’
3. Tap Battery then tap Background usage limits
4. Disable “put unused apps to sleep”
5. Tap on “Sleeping apps”
6. Tap the three dots at the top right and select “Edit apps”
7. If ‘Medisafe’ appears in this list, select ‘Medisafe’ and then tap on “Remove”
Navigate back to Battery settings and tap More battery settings
Disable the ”Adaptive battery” setting

Unrestricted app Battery Settings (Android 12):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on “Apps” and select ‘Medisafe’
3. Tap “Battery” then Select “Unrestricted”

Battery Optimization (Android 12):
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap on “Battery and device care”
3. Tap the three dots at the top right and select “Automation”
4. Deactivate “Auto optimize daily”
