I do not get Medisafe notifications – Huawei
For all Huawei Android versions, check the Protected Apps:
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap ‘Protected Apps’ and turn it on for Medisafe
Background Restrictions (Android 6-8)
1. The specified menu paths apply to EMUI 5.0 on Android 7.0. Depending on device and OS version, designation and location of menu items may differ.
2. Navigate to “Settings
3. Tap Apps
4. Tap ‘Medisafe’
5. Tap Data usage”, scroll down, and set “Background data” to “allowed”
Background Restrictions (Android 9)
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap ‘Battery’ and make sure that the following options are all deactivated (“Performance mode”, “Power Saving mode”, and “Ultra Power Saving mode”)
3. Tap on “App launch” (in Settings > Battery)
4. Scroll to ‘Medisafe’, and set the switch to the Off position
5. A dialog containing three options appears (“Auto-launch”, “Secondary launch”, and “Run in background”): Make sure that all three options are activated, and confirm by tapping “OK”
Battery Optimization (Android 6-8)
1. The specified menu paths apply to EMUI 5.0 on Android 7.0. Depending on device and OS version, designation and location of menu items may differ.
2. Navigate to “Settings
3. Tap Battery
4. Tap “Close apps after screen lock”, and set ‘Medisafe’ to “Don’t close”
Advanced Battery (Android 7)
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap ‘Apps’
3. Tap on ‘Medisafe’
4. Tap ‘Battery’
5. Turn off ‘Power-intensive prompt’ and ‘Close after screen locked’
Advanced Battery (Android 8+)
1. Open device Settings
2. Tap ‘Battery’
3. Tap ‘Launch’
4. Tap ‘Medisafe’
5. Then tap on ‘Manage manually’ and make sure everything is turned on
