How do I stop Medisafe from sending medication reminders? – Android
At this time, there is no option to simply stop the medication reminders. You can either turn off your notifications for the entire app or suspend the individual meds on your account.
To turn off notifications:
Notification settings can differ on each Android. Your device make be set up slightly different but you can use the following steps to turn off your reminders. Open the device Settings app, tap on ‘Apps’ then tap on ‘Medisafe’ and turn off the notifications.
Turning off the notifications in the settings will stop the app from sending the notifications to your device but the app will continue scheduling the doses. When you open the app, you will still receive the in-app reminders for your doses. To stop reminders you can either change the medications to “as needed” schedules or make them inactive. See “How to change a med’s schedule” for instructions on changing the med to As Needed.
To make a medication inactive:
1. Tap on ‘Medications’ then tap your med
2. Tap ‘Suspend’
Suspending your medication will keep the med in your Medications list and you can use the same steps as above to Resume it when you are ready and Medisafe will automatically schedule your reminders again. Please keep in mind that “as needed” medications cannot be suspended.
